Busy Week - 15 June 2015
Hello my Family!
It is amazing to me how fast each week seems to go. This week was especially fast mostly because we were so busy.
We did divisions twice this week. One day I worked with Sister Mota. She is from Columbia and speaks Spanish. She is so cute and works so hard. She is really sick though and can only work starting at 5. So as soon as 5 hit, we literally ran everywhere. We did 21 contacts on the street in the first hour and we just laughed the whole time because I didn´t really understand what anyone would say and she didn´t really understand either, but we talked with everyone and then just laughed and laughed when we would mess up. Oh it was great. I really enjoyed working with her.
Wednesday we did an emergency division because a dupla of sisters is having a hard time with obedience. So my companion went with them, and I went with another set of Sisters, Sisters Cesario and B. Ferreira. I loved them. Sister B. Ferreira is fresh from the MTC and is so sweet. We are so similar and I really hope that one day we get to be companions. She just really wants to be here and you can see that in the way she works.
I don´t remember if I told you this last week but we found a family and the mom lived in Texas for 7 years! What are the chances! Unfortunately we have had a hard time contacting them when they aren´t busy, but I really feel this urgency to help them learn more about the Savior and His wonderful plan for families.
We are teaching this lady named Adrianna and she has the MOST ADORABLE LITTLE BOYS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I will send a picture next week oh my goodness I love them.
All the little kids in the ward love us Sisters. It is my favorite thing when they see us on the street and run and give us all hugs! One little girl, tells us that we are in timeout because we left her house and she didn´t want us to leave after lunch. hahaha.
I am a little stressed about the activity we are planning for a ward. My companion likes to do everything last minute and I am definitely a planner and it stresses me out to leave everything to do for Saturday night. Mostly because I feel like this activity is so important for us to gain the trust of the members, establish better relationships with them, and help them feel the spirit of the missionary work. This ward has great potential, but they are lacking enthusiasm right now.
I hope that the move goes smoothly. Congrats Daniel on graduation! And your mission call, I literally told everyone about it. hahaha
I love you all so much. I am so grateful for you and all your examples for me.
Até mais!
Sister Jacobson
