Hi! - 25 May 2015

Okay first things first and most importantly I need York Peppermint patties. I know that they will probably be melted  by the time they get here, but let´s be honest I will still eat them. So if you could add that in the package for Christmas that would be great!! Thanks :) 

Also mom, can you send me some of the charts for your EPT stuff? Like the trapped emotions? Just like the basic stuff where I could essential do some EPT on myself when I need it. 
Also the recipe for the Power Cereal? You the one with apples and oats and cinnamon? THANK YOU!! 

Okay, now for the really important stuff. 

This week was a challenge for me. We seemed to have an amazing week last week and then this week was discouraging. Some days you work so hard and you don´t see any fruit of your labors and sometimes that is discouraging. But, I know the Lord is preparing the hearts and minds of the people here and it is our job to find them. So that is what we are doing. We are literally talking to everyone that we see. It is getting to the point that we recognize everyone in the streets because we have already talked to them. It´s fun. Some people are so nice and so accepting, and other people hahahaha oh man. Some people are just plain rude. But, for the most part Brazilians are the nicest people I have ever met. 

We got two new sisters in our house!! So now we have four sisters working in our Ward. It is nice, and I am also learning so much. 

So as usual my favorite part of the day is personal study. I have decided to study the Attributes of Christ chapter in PMG, one attribute a week. So this week I studied all about Obedience and set goals so that I can be as obedient as possible so that I can have the Spirit with me at all times. Christ tells us to follow him and I learned that obedience is an act of faith and a way that we show our love to our Savior. When we are doing the ´´things that please him´´ (John 8:29), ´´the same is His disciple´´ (D&C 41:5). We are entitled to so many blessings based solely on our obiedence! Oh how easy is the way.

Almost Forgot - 16 May 2016

Wow I almost logged off without sending anything. Sorry! This week has been good. A little frustrating. I feel like I relate really well to the stories Daniel tells about running to church late with no investigators. There isn´t anything more frustrating. But I know that the lord is testing everything that i have learning the the past few months to see if i can apply everything that i have learned. and it is hard, but i know it will all be worth it.  i love you all hugs!! sister jacobson

Final Transfer - 23 May 2016

Well i recieved my final transfer call last night. It is official that i will die in José Américo 2 with my companion Sister Silva. I am happy. I reallly like this area. it is really hard but i love it. My companion is happy to stay with me, but at the same time she is really sad because she already has one year in the mission field and she is the junior companion. She feels like president has forgotten about her. So part of me feels really bad that she is companions with me, but at the same time I love her so it will be fun.  This week we spent a bit of time in the doctors. My companion was sick with a virius that I think I am coming down with too, but it passed really fast and we were still able to work so that is good.  We had a great week. We fasted almost every day to try and have more results in our area. It was a great feeling, but wow did we get hungry. hahaha.
