THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! - 27 April 2015

MOM THANK YOU FOR THE PACKAGE!!!! It´s like you knew I was missing from America and sent it to me in a beautiful box!! Thank you thank you!!! I was helping the Mission president carrying in all the boxes and mail and I was carrying this one is a bag and I thought, wow, this on is heavy whoever gets this is really lucky. and IT WAS ME! Thank you thank you. I am so excited about the peanut butter!!! And I am sure it will surprise you to know that the Nutella is still unopened. hahaha

This we was really good. It had a few rough patches, but looking back, they were like pebbles in the road. I had interviews with President and his wife and it was the best thing of my life. I asked President to give me a blessing, mostly because i know i have been so stressed about Portuguese and also because I have been having some problems with the food, (Mom don´t worry). Well he gave me a wonderful blessing reminding me that I am a very special daughter of our Heavenly Father and I need to find the people that are waiting specifically for me. Wow. I just started bawling and he started laughing. 

I got to just talk with Sister Nogueira about somethings that have been stressing me out about my relationship with my companion and she was like a grandma to me and just listened and gave me great advice and it was a great experience for me to get to know her and love a little more. 

So yesterday was a miracle. All week we worked so hard to invite people to ward conference this week, passing out invitations and getting members to help us. Well, Sunday morning like usually, we left early to go invite the whole world to come, and even after 10 people promised they would come, only 1 was actually serious. Literally, Sunday is the day that everyone dies. I have never heard of so many moms, brothers, sisters, aunts, and dogs dying on the same day, but that is why no one can come to church.......every week. hahaha whatever. Well we had this sweet old man with us named Severino. We got him situated with other men at church and then we went to Relief Society. A few minutes into class, an investigator Sheila walked in. A few minutes later another investigator and her daughter walked in. WHAT!? We didn´t even expect them. It was so great. Then after we found out that another investigator had come as well. It was a miracle and it was all the work of the Lord.

It really taught me that my purpose is really to invite. We spent all week inviting these people to church, but we couldn´t force them to come. They only came because they were touched by the spirit. 

I love you all so so so much. I am trying to learn how to send letters because I have recieved so many, which I am beyond grateful for. Please thank the Thelers for me. I got a letter from them and it was so cute to see the drawings of McKean and Kaylie. Thank you thank you!!!
