Three Months a Missionary - 20 April 2015
Wow it has been three months. Part of me can´t believe it!!
So yes, me and my companion are both in Ipês. I do like it. I have had a little bit of a hard time adjusting, fighting a silent battle inside because I miss that place so much. It´s hard because we can literally see Tambaú from our window of our new house. But, we are still in the same stake so I have seen a few of my favorite members. The Stake President saw me yesterday and told me that everyone misses me and is not happy I had to leave. Haha that made me feel good.
Our first day was a little crazy. The previous Sisters didn´t update their area book and we didn´t have a map or a ward directory so we were very very lost. It was little stressful. Or alot of stressful. But we somehow found the Relief Society President´s house so that was a miracle. She helped us alot.
We found these two sweet girls, Ingrid and Kimberly, 13 and 12. They already came to church with us yesterday and want to get baptized. They love the Book of Mormon and love to have us come visit. They are the best.
We have alot of young women that come teach with us which is great.
My Portuguese is still just terrible. Tomorrow I have an interview with President and I am going to ask for a blessing.
The best part of the week for me was during a personal study. The April Ensign is amazing!! I have been studying the article about weakness all week. If you haven´t read it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!
Well, I love you all so much.
Love, Sister Jacobson
