Training - 20 July 2015
Okay so this email might be really short. Our email time has been cut again and I have made a goal to write to Presidente first because I want him to know he can trust me in this area. Also I have a lot to talk with him about so sorry that took a while.
This week has been full of ups and downs. My new companion is Sister Cole. She is cute. She served in Washington for two transfers before she came here so she has experience in the mission. This has proven to be a good thing and a bad thing because this is NOT the same mission. Things are so different here as she has said so she has taken some time to adjust, but I think things are great. It is different having an American companion and sometimes so stressful. I really have to focus on what people are saying because if I don´t understand, no one does at this point. But, it has been cool for me to see how much of the lessons and contacting I can do all by myself.
This week we literally walked all over. This is another thing different for my companion. Hahaha cars.
I had a cool experience with a member this week. I had an impression to write a letter to this young woman in our ward here and so I did. Later that week she wrote me back and expressed how I had been an answered prayer for her and that she was so grateful for the opportunity to meet me. Anyway, while i was reading this letter I had this overwhelming feeling of ´´This is why you are here`` In my setting apart blessing, Pres. said that I would be a strength and an example to all sisters, members and non members. So I just thought it was cool that I had the opportunity to see this fulfilled.
We had interviews with Presidente. BEST THING OF MY LIFE. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! He gave me a blessings all about my future family...what?? hahaha But its okay I will stay very focused for the next year.
This week has been a growing experience for me as have all. Thank you for all your support and love. Seriously I could not do this without it.
I am so grateful to be here. I love this opportunity. I love being a missionary and I never want this name tag to come off. Never.
I love you all. Have a great week!
