Ipes with a Trio! - 6 July 2015

Hola Família! 

This week has been so wonderful for me! I really feel like my heart changed this week. Before, yes I loved to be here. I loved to teach people and testify about Jesus Christ. I loved to wear my name tag and carry around a Book of Mormon everywhere. But, something changed this week. I walk down the street and I stop every person we talk to. The first thing I do in the morning is put on my name tag. I get frustrated when my companion doesn´t give me more opportunities to talk. haha. Literally, I LOVE BEING A MISSIOINARY.  

I am in a trio right now and it is a little different. But, I am honestly loving it. When we role play during companionship study, it is waaaaaaaaaay better! I love it!. We are able to divide the lesson better and there are more mouths to testify of the truth! Both of these sisters are from São Paulo (one from your mission Bryan!) so they talk about São Paulo alot, but its all good. 

I am so grateful to be staying in this ward. I love the members. They need a lot of help though. We bring investigators to church, but no one talks to them, and then Bishop complains that we don´t have many baptisms.....well duh! No one wants to come to church and not have friends. So we are working with the Bishop to fix this. 

We have an investigator that I seriously love with all my heart! Her name is Adriana. She is 24 and has two little boys. She finally accepted to be baptized, but please keep her in your prayers. She is so special to me and she needs this gospel. She has been the start of my experience of feeling like Nephi in 2 Nephi 33:3. 

I had a cool experience this week. We had an FHE with some members and I called ahead to make sure everything was set and the mom said she had a lesson prepared, so wow great! We didnt need to do anything. Well we got there, and the father announced that I would give the lesson. OH i panicked!!!! Everyone knew that this was a surprise and I know everyon must have been praying for me because instantly a scripture came to my mind and I started teaching about the importance of prayer. It wasn´t perfect, but I know the Lord put words into my mouth. It was a wonderful experience for me and a chance to share my testimony and grow closer to these members. 

Oh, this is all I have time for, but I love you all!! Have some much fun in your roles at Pageant!! Espcially Aubrey!! hahah I can picture you doing that dance!! Awesome!!!
