Nine Meses - 26 Oct 2015
This week I completed 9 months of my mission. My half way mark. It is weird to think about. I feel like I felt a panic that I have so much to do and so little time. My companions planned a surprise party for in with a cake and everything. Literally its like we have birthdays every month here.
So yesterdays was transfers. Yes transfers already. The weeks are just flying by. I will stay in my area as the STL with my companion. So nothing new. And I will still live with the same two other Sisters which I am happy about.
So right now I am working in a branch and can i just tell you it in one of the most stressful things ever. There is absolutely no organization and everything falls onto the shoulders of the missionaries. Oh...we don´t have a gospel principals teacher? Missionaries. Oh...the speakers didn´t come to sacrament meeting?? Missionaries. Oh...you didn´t prepare the lessons for the activity? Missionaries. Minha nossa que stress! We are always on our toes not knowing exactly what to expect. For example yesterday at church I was sitting with my investigators explaining what was going on when we started to sing the opening hymn. Well no one was playing the piano and no one asked me to so I wasn´t thinking about it. Well we started the song, and then stopped in the middle to call me up to play the piano.. hahaha awkward. There is absolutely no communication. But its all good. We are all learning.
I had a wonderful personal study this week, well many wonderful studies, about prayer and the gift of discernment. Really prayer is when the Holy Spirit gives us the words to say.I want to be able to pray like that.
I am also studying the teachings of Ezra Taft Benson. I love him. He was the profeta when I was born and I am just learning so much. I am going to name one of my sons Benson just so you all know. hahahaha
Well, I feel like that is pretty much it.
I love you all so much! have a great week.
Good luck Daniel! You will be great!
