Transfers Again - 25 Jan 2016

Well I will be staying here in Guarabira one more transfer with my comp Sister Lins. I am happy and at the same time I am just praying to believe there exist people in this little city that I haven´t talked to. But Presidente has given me a bit of advice about what to do in the area to help them grow and the member stay strong, so I am excited that he trusts me enough to get this work done.
We had a great week. The only thing really was hard this week was all the rain, again. It has just been gloomy gloomy gloomy and as much as the sun is hot, I LOVE IT. I am sooooo much happier with sun. I will be burned to a crisp, yes, but i am happy. And when I am happy we work harder. This week also I think just because I hit my one year mark, my body knows, just knows it will have the chance to rest a bit soon. Just like Sunday nights, my body always knows that tomorrow is Pday! So I have been feeling all sorts of aches and pains that I didnt know existed, but its all apart of getting old :)
We have been teaching this wonderful woman Livramento. She is married to a husband that just drinks and drinks and drinks. She has been searching for peace and hope in her life and she started coming to church with us last week and she has competely changed. She just glows with more happiness and she said last night that she and her daughter want to be baptized. Wow it was like a wave of the Spirit that just washed over me when she said that. She is amazing.
We had a baptism of another wonderful woman, Josinalda. She has two kids, I think i just that last week. She is awesome. She wasn´t really open with us at the beginning and then all of a sudden after we had prayed and fasted for her, she just started telling us everything about her life. I just kept thinking about that talk by Elder Nelson about powerful women that will flock to the church. I am seeing this prophecy unfold already.
I wanted to send a few pictures, but we are at another computer place bem sketchy so next week.
There was a transmission for all the missionaries of the world. Wow it was cool. But actually my favorite part was a program that was on BYUTV before. It was called Messiah. Wow if you have the chance to watch it PLEASE DO because it is beautiful. All about the Savior and His Atonement. One part that one professor said is that in the scriptures when Jesus is in the Garden praying, it is written in Latin so that is means more that Jesus went, he fell, he prayed, he went, he fell, he prayed, he went, he fell, he prayed. As if he fell, prayed, got some strength, walked away some more, then when the pain and pressure was too much he fell again and prayed. If you have the chance, it is amazing. And I have been listening to ´´The Lamb of God´´ all week and wow incredible also. So because of this experience I made a new planner all about the atonement. I love it.
Well, I love you all so much. I hope that you are enjoying the snow. It is beautiful. Thanks for the pictures!!
Hugs and kisses! Cheiros hahaha]
