Week of Craziness - 13 July 2015

Okay Family Hi.

So this week has been crazy. It all started with a phone call last Monday from the Assistants. ``Sister are you feeling something moving in your stomach?`` ``Umm...what Elder?`` ``Do you feel something strange in your stomach??`` ``Umm...now I do. What are you talking about??`` ``You will be a mother next week!!`` ``WHAT ELDER?`` ´´You will train next week ok?``
So that was fun. I am getting my daughter tomorrow. An american sister that just got her visa and I will be her trainer!! I am so excited and so nervous to be a trainer already. I feel like my Portuguese is not good enough because literally I will be doing everything by myself for a little bit, until she learns Portuguese. But,I am praying so hard and really am so exicted!
Tuesday I got to see alot of the Sisters in our mission. I love them. It has been so good for me to see my progress with the language. My first experiences when I was with the sisters were terrible because I just sat there and didn´t understand anything and I felt so lonely. But this time, I was able to laugh and joke right along with them and it felt so good. There really are very special Sisters here.
Most exciting thing this week happened on Thursday. Me and one of my companions were walking to an appointment at 8pm when a motor with two men pulled out right in front of us and left with our bags. It was an interesting experience to say the very least. So without a cellphone or keys to our house, we went to the Bishop´s and he helped us ´´break´´ into our house.
We spent all Friday in the secretary´s office trying to get a new cellphone and new locks for our house.
Saturday a man came a exchanged all the locks and fixed a light socket for us, but he did something wrong because that night we came home and we had no power in the house. Literally I have felt like this week has just been one little thing after another. All little things for the most part to hinder this work.
But the cherry on the top of this crazy week, was Adriana. Adriana is by far my favorite person I have met here. She was baptized on Friday. This is another crazy story, because we were an hour late to her baptism, but she was ready and waiting for us. She is so great. She has a really hard life and I am so inspired by her desire to follow the Lord. This is why I am here. To find people like her.
I love you all! I am sooooo exicted about Pageant and STAFF!!! WHOOO HOOO!!
